The easy diet - in search of [Re: ]
      #512 - 07/28/06 01:31 PM

The easy diet!

First of all, let me say I'm not a fan of most diet plans. I just cant make one work for me. I stay in pretty good physical condition but my eating habits are my downfall, I guess.

However, I'm on a quest to discover the nature of an experience that happens occasionally, and maybe you can relate.

It happened today, and I want to know the reasons for it. I feel so good today, so healthy, I had a modest work-out at lunch and an absolute perfect appetite afterwards. In other words, I ate part of a tuna subway and didn't feel like anything else. Here is the key, it seemed my desire was to do the right thing, and there was no need to fight my appetite

Imagine for a moment if you always felt like doing exactly what you should be doing. You eat modestly because your physiological conditions were in perfect order. A work-out, a modest meal and you feel great and no temptation to eat more. I didn't want sweats, it was as if something beyond my ability was dictating my desires, and I loved it!

Okay, does that make sense? Have you had it happen? Its happened a number of times for me, but not enough to get me down in weight to my desired goal. I should say to me "weight" is third in my personal goals, falling below
1. Feeling good
2. Looking good (dont just think body and clothes, think of eyes/countenance)

I'd rather feel good than look good, and I'd rather look good (again, countenance) than be skinny. Case in point, I did Atkins, lost 10 lbs in a week and couldn't focus at all.

So, the real "quest" is, how do I create conditions as often as I can to get me into this "mode" where I naturally want to do the right things, feel great, and dont even desire the things that arn't good for me?

Well, in a study you record everything that happened on those days and look for patterns, right? Well, theres more but this is good. So here is what I recall from today.

1. Had a pretty good night of sleep.
2. Day before felt poor due to allergies, maybe other factors but not sure. This is important because I find often good days follow bad days (physical).
3. Had a reasonable breakfast, a very healthy fruit drink (expensive) and a bagel with cream cheese.

But to this point I believe that I've had all those conditions before often without having this kind of day. My guess is its mostly out of my control. But I still have to figure out if certain things can be done to get there, and I know some of you (if anyone is reading this ) live life in such a healthy way and this is normal for you. But I dont know, this is a discussin forum so chime in!

I read somewhere, that you normally like to eat what is good for you as long as it is not artificial. Most children and grown-ups seem to like certain foods (talking of vegetables) and, I've a noticed, if a person is suffering from a disease of some sort, he has a tendency to like foods which are good for him. Someone I know, for example, suffers from diabetes and loves garlic. Garlic is good for diabetes and most people, especially children don't exactly love it. So, as long as it does not have artificial flavour (like chocolates and wafers) and you like it, it must be good for you .

Long time since I last visited this site. I personally think that when you have the motivation, things seem to follow automatically. I feel that its always hard to eat something not good for you if you picture what you want to be, what your target is.

Atkins is supposed to be very bad for you. But apart from that, the best system to follow is that natural > artificial, fruits are bound to be better than fruit juices.

But anyway, I am sure you have a chiseled stomach by now Dean. But didn't really have the heart to search for other topics to reply to.

Why not share here your favorite jokes so others can know about it

Below is my favorite joke which is Needles Are Not Nice

Bill and Bob, two children, were sitting outside a clinic. Bill happened to be crying very loudly.
"Why are you crying?" Bob asked.
"I came here for a blood test," sobbed Bill.
"So? Are you afraid?"
"No. For the blood test, they cut my finger.
As Bob heard this, he immediately began crying profusely.
Astonished, Bill stopped his tears and asked Bob, "Why are you crying now?"
To which Bob replied, "I came for a urine test!"

Bob was very stupid, thinking his vital will be cut for a urine test

      #1566 - 09/06/10 02:01 AM

by 1st NFL Picks we have chosen how to give our visitors the in truth very best. on truth, we have on sacrificed many of short term cash into the belief that bringing buyers handicappers every better for than our previous team will get more endless term buyers. Don't believe us? Test out the daily free Football Picks usage email and also see for Yourself. Or make the wisest investment consumers can make this fall and also buy one as for the super packages.

What makes you divergent?
little plainly - better cappers' by more integrity. each one day they article their results - effective or poor. Fortunately being end users each one one as for these NFL as well as College football pros has proven which over time they win. you won't see any one 800 numbers by these sites! use signing up as the no cost nfl picks (as well as NCAA) email newsletter, you went be competent To see as this is providing the strongest play around as to the day and also links how to no cost football selections from each single one as for the analysts.

Techniques to Do you define success?
quite plainly - consistency. What makes a great handicapper is their ability how to win over a lengthy time as to time. The biggest misinterpret gamers make is how to not following the bankroll management strategies as to the experts and also how to give build up after the first sign as for a bad week or two. this might be cliche, but it is a marathon and never a sprint. if you stay the path as to person which has proven To rake over time, time and time again, consumers will be assured of success
