How to Register
To register you must check the waiver of liability by scrolling down and clicking in the "I Agree" box, and then filling in your Login Name, Display Name (can be the same), password (it is best to specify one), and your email address. You will not receive spam or random emails as a result of this, nor will your email address be given to any mail list. Your email address is completely confidential and no one will be able to view it besides the administrator.

Waiver of Liability
Biking, running, or walking for exercise all carries inherent risks. FitnessRace.com, its officers, directors, employees and affiliates are not responsible for any injury or loss directly or indirectly resulting by a participant of or participation in, or from event or activity related to the FitnessRace.com program. All participants must register on the walking, running and/or biking sites associated with www.FitnessRace.com and agree to the following:

Physical Activities:
Participant agrees to abide by all applicable local, state and federal laws, including but not limited to highway, trail and other posted rules, as well as any laws regarding charitable fundraising.

Participants must be 18 years of age, accompanied by a parent or guardian, or tender a release of responsibility from their parent or guardian to the sponsoring organization prior to participation. Such participation or act of releasing responsibility demonstrates they acknowledge and agree to the terms of this Liability Waiver.

Participant agrees to exercise with caution, and to consult their doctor if they have known or potential health risks. Further, it is understood this program is to help participants engage in healthful activity and adopt life-changing habits leading to health and happiness. FitnessRace.com does not promote over-exercise or "winning" over these higher goals.

Participant agrees to exercise caution during user- or sponsor- created group events, or through any participant contact including discussion groups on the FitnessRace website. FitnessRace.com specifically recommends participants do not take part in user-created events in which they are not familiar with the person(s) or group(s) attending.

While there is no federal law in the U.S. requiring bicycle helmets, states and localities have adopted laws regarding wearing helmets. Participants agree to abide by their local laws and are strongly suggested regardless to wear an ANSI- or SNELL-approved helmet.

Fundraising Activities:
FitnessRace.com will not accept any money collected for charitable causes, and is not responsible for the collecting, accounting, or distributing any monies collected for charitable causes through the FitnessRace.com program. While we do encourage groups to include fundraising as part of their FitnessRace.com events, the participants, sponsors, and groups are fully responsible for the accurate accounting and distribution of said funds. All donations are handled by the people or organizations making the pledge, and FitnessRace.com in no way is involved with these transactions.

Indemnification:
Participant agrees to waive all claims against FitnessRace.com, its officers, employees and affiliates, as well as sponsors or sponsoring companies, representatives or volunteers, and to hold them harmless against any claim or demand, including attorney fees, made by any third party due to or arising out of their registration, participation or other involvement in this program.

Applicable Law, Consent to Jurisdiction:
Participant agrees that exclusive jurisdiction for any dispute regarding the FitnessRace.com program resides in the Courts of the State of Minnesota, and shall be heard in Anoka County, Minnesota.

Severability:
If any provision of this Liability Waiver shall be deemed to be unlawful, void, or for any reason unenforceable, then that provision shall be deemed severable from this Liability Waiver, and shall not affect the validity and enforceability of any remaining provisions.

By registering, you agree to recognize and abide by these rules, and Waive all claim of Liability against FitnessRace.com, its officers, directors, employees and affiliates.
