Hey there, name's Biking Lion and I wanted to let all the bikers out there know about the film that my company just put out. It's called "Share the Road - Tales from a band of Gypsy Bikers," and it chronicles a ride of the Nothern Tier and West Coast in 2003. If there are any Appalachian Trail hikers on the forum, you may have heard of "TREK," which was our first documentary project. We are very happy with the finished product, and want to hear what our fellow bikers think. Check out the trailer for 'STR' at the Cirque Productions Webpage.
If anyone has seen it, let me know what you think!

yes, I am, and there were 9 of us total - sometimes as many as 11...we would pick up folks as we went, people we never met, but bike trips will do that to folks...

Just wanted to re-iterate what I said on the entrance page here, this is a GREAT video I've done about 20 trips in my life, and this video captured the "real stuff". On a bike trip there are moments of exhileration and times where you wonder what the heck you did this for, like when you have a 30 mph wind directly against you and rain to boot. Well, after biking across the country these guys saw it all, and shared the story well. It truly has me pumped for my next trip.
This video also serves well to help you prepare for a trip, and maybe help you decide whats right for you.
Make sure you visit their web site at www.cirquevideo.com

Saw it, have it , the reason i got into cycling. should be considered manditory curiculum for all cyclests(because it would be so painful to watch this movie *note sarcasm*). I for one want to duplicat(maby not exactly the same) that trip(in about a year), so if your interested (either of you) i'd love to have you guys along (especialy since i'll have had no prior touring experience) -Cobalt

Everything I am working towards is to make biking part of my career. I've been a techie for way too long, and I admire the way Brian and Leon have made adventure their career. My secret dream, the one that sounds kind of crazy, is that I'll run my own business from my bike, on every day I can I'd have a wireless labtop, pda, what not and cruise around able to stop and deal with my business when I need to, but otherwise I'm on my bike. Possible? I believe so.
All that said, we'll see when the time comes. I'm doing my best to make that a dream by then, then I'll be joining you
